Common questions.

What if I only want strength training, not cardio?
Totally fair. Our classes are designed to balance treadmill intervals with strength training in one session, which is actually where the best results come from. Workouts are self-paced and scalable, so you can always lean harder into strength and go lighter on the cardio. If you're strength-first, try Abs & A$$, Pull & Press, or Full Force.
What if I only want cardio?
The Classic is for you, 55 minutes all on the tread. If you're open to mixing things up, Pace & Press blends cardio intervals with strength so you get the efficiency of both in one class.
I'm brand new to working out. Can I keep up?
Yes. Every class is designed for all fitness levels. Workouts are self-paced, coaches scale movements in real time, and you choose your own speed and resistance. Whether it's your first class or your hundredth, you'll be coached to train safely and effectively.
How big are the classes?
Our standard class capacity is 24. Small enough for personal coaching and form corrections. Pace & Press runs a larger 24-member format for the full cardio-plus-strength experience.
Do I need to bring my own heart rate monitor?
No. We have heard rate monitors for sale at the studio. We recommend it. However, you can also use an Apple Watch, Polar, Garmin, and any ANT+ device to track your performance metrics. Just download the Spivi app to connect your device. and create your account with your STRIDE Fitness email so everything syncs properly. If you need help getting set up, the front desk team will handle it before class.
What if my heart rate monitor isn't showing on the screen?
First, make sure you've downloaded the Spivi app and created an account with your STRIDE email. Then check in at the front desk before class — we'll get you synced up. Still not working? Our team can help troubleshoot at the studio.
